HACCP Standard

Zeelandia van Belzen is certified by Dr. Berns Laboratorium according to the latest HACCP standard in order to ensure that we consistently meet our demanding quality and hygiene standards.

 

HACCP Concept

per Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 on Food Hygiene

Regulation No. 852/2004 stipulates that food business operators must establish, implement, and maintain a HACCP system for all stages in the production, processing, and distribution of food. Dr. Berns has created an individual, pragmatic, and lean HACCP concept for us.

A functioning and comprehensive HACCP concept also includes regular testing for verification, as prescribed by the Codex Alimentarius and EU regulations. Dr. Bern's consultancy package includes not only the preparation of a QM concept but also the annual tests. Dr. Bern's reviews our documentation, performs a hygiene audit of our production facilities, and trains our personnel according to IfSG and Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004.

We update our HACCP concept each year to ensure that we are always working according to the latest standards.
